In force from October 26, 2026
This policy explains how we handle the personal data you give us through the Hacienda Berlín II website. We adopt it in compliance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013, now compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015.
The party responsible for processing your data (the data controller) is:
Through the site’s form we collect only this data:
In addition, the site uses Google Analytics cookies to learn, in aggregate, how many people visit it and which pages they read (see section 4).
We do not ask for sensitive data, such as data related to health, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political orientation or biometric data.
We use your data only for these purposes:
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not hand it to third parties for their own purposes. Signing up for news is not a booking or a purchase, and it does not commit you to anything.
The site uses cookies from Google Analytics, a Google service, to measure visits: pages viewed, time on the site, device type and approximate location, such as country or city. We use this information in aggregate, to learn what works on the site, and we do not use it to identify you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
By checking the box on the form and submitting it, you give us your prior, express and informed authorization to process your data under this policy. We keep proof of that authorization: the date and time of submission and the data you entered.
The form is intended for people aged 18 or over. If you are a minor, please do not use it.
As the owner of the data, you have the right to:
These rights may be exercised by the data subject, their successors, their representative or attorney, and anyone acting under a stipulation for the benefit of another.
Inquiries and claims are handled by the management of Agropecuaria Hoyos S.A.S. Write to info@haciendaberlinii.com or send a letter to Calle 21 Norte # 9A-94, Cali. Include your name, your ID number, the email or address where you want to receive the answer and what you are requesting. If you are acting on behalf of someone else, attach the document that authorizes you.
Inquiries. If you want to know what data of yours we hold or how we use it, we will answer within a maximum of 10 business days from the date we receive the inquiry. If we cannot answer within that time, we will tell you the reasons for the delay and the date of our answer, which will not be more than 5 business days after the first deadline expires.
Claims. If you want to correct, update or delete your data, revoke your authorization or report a breach of the law, we will answer within a maximum of 15 business days from the day after we receive the claim. If we cannot answer within that time, we will tell you the reasons for the delay and the date of our answer, which will not be more than 8 business days after the first deadline expires.
If a claim arrives incomplete, we will ask you to complete it within 5 days of receiving it. If two months pass from that request without you sending what is missing, we will understand that you have withdrawn the claim. Once we receive the complete claim, within no more than 2 business days we will tag your data with the note “claim in progress” and the reason, and we will keep that note until the claim is decided.
If you are not satisfied after completing the inquiry or claim process with us, you may go to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.
To run the site and send you emails we use web hosting, email and statistics providers, such as Google Analytics. They process the data on our behalf and under our instructions, as data processors.
Some of these providers may store the data on servers outside Colombia. In those cases we make an international transmission of data to a processor, with the safeguards required by Colombian law. By accepting this policy, you authorize that transmission.
We will also hand over your data to a public authority when the law requires us to.
We take reasonable technical, human and administrative measures to protect your data against tampering, loss, consultation, use or unauthorized or fraudulent access. Only the people who need the data for the purposes of this policy have access to it.
We keep your data for as long as you remain signed up for news and for as long as it is needed for the purposes of this policy. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link included in every email or by writing to us; we will then delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it.
If we make a substantial change to this policy, we will publish it on this page and inform the people signed up by email before the change takes effect.
This policy is in force from October 26, 2026. The database will remain in force for as long as the Hacienda Berlín II project exists and the data is needed for the purposes described.
